Can someone tell me what leight is the driveshaft on 70 442 when measured from front center cap to rear center cap for an automatic Any help would be thankful

4 speed or automatic? I don't know the answer to this off hand but someone who does will need to know. Maybe they can post the length of both.

 

hey eric your car is an automatic would u mine checking The lenght on your shaft for me and maybe to locations of the brown and blue strip from the front center cap to the center of the stripes

I will look when I get home. I do not know where the stripes go. I just picked a random place. I could be wrong but I don't thing there was a "perfect" place for them. I think they just hit them with paint where ever the guy hit it. I only seen one that had the original stripes on it and they looked like they were brush painted.

 

Mine is 55 inches eye to eye.

 

thanks for the time and info. eric so is mine. this drive shaft I have is a replacement one that was furnish with the car when I bought it and I just wanted to make sure it was the wright length.
