What is the biggest tire you have ran in an a body, before tubbing it (a bfg to the wheel wells dont count as tubbing.).

Anything more than what you are running now will require trimming the wheel lip and the right offset wheels. That is what it took on my 70.

You can run a 10 inch rim with no rubbing.

I ran a 10 in rim but you have to watch the offset, I had to trim my outer wheel lip to get them not to rub on the 295 50s I used to run.
I am talking about 10s on the rear of the car. No way on the front. I ran an 255 60 15 on the front on a 8 inch It was close and would hit on a bump at full lock.

I run the same tire and rub the Hotchkis anti sway bar on the front. WAY big! Otherwise I like your setup too. It's not like I'm going to change them.

Tis a lie I tell you! I have 295/50/15's on an 8" rim on my car right now...when I get new rims I'll be putting 325/40/15's on it. When you measure everything correctly, you'd be surprised what you can fit on these cars.
