Distributor order of spark plug wires

Distributor order of spark plug wires

My dumb
question of the day....(Distributor order of spark plug wires) Spark plug wires order attachment goes by firing order correct? after number 1 spark plug wire it,s not 2, but rather is based on the firing order of the engine correct. I pulled the distributer and slipped it in 1 camshaft notch back so I would have more room to advance after reattaching wires it misfires

From: Marble Falls TX
Run # 1 to TDC on the compression stroke,
check where you roter bug will be firing.
That will be #1. Then counterclockwise,
8-4-3-6-5-7-2. Should be good to go.

Yes, it's 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2, going counterclockwise.
