cruise control servo rod

Does anyone know what the difference is between a 2 barrel and a 4 barrel cruise control servo rod. I think one is longer but i have a couple and they are the same length but have different bends in them, so im not sure. Assembly manual says the ends have different colors but that is long gone on these i have. Does anyone have one to see or sell?

Thanks W31man

For what year? I believe they differed between 70 and 72, depending on what servo was used.

that information may be lost forever... Cruise is pretty rare on a '72 Olds A-body. Just use the one that fits best?

Here is a picture of the linkage, however you cannot see the bend.
The bend is not too much and is 1.5" from the carb linkage end.
The 2bbl one is 1" longer than the 4bbl but it would work for a 4bbl. At most you would have to cut off a little and possibly add a few extra threads to it (std 1/4 - 20).

Let me know if you need a picture when on the car...

Thanks for the info, you would think there would be at least 1 inch of adjustment in those rods that they wouldnt need two different ones. I saw the note in the manual i was just curious.

I think I actually ended up buying a 2bbl one a while back and when i put it next to the 4bbl one, they looked the same length. Of course I did not remove the threaded part (was too difficult).
