chrome plating wheels
#2
Bob, my understanding is that the FWD wheels Oldsmobile used in the 80s and 90s were aluminum. If your wheels are aluminum, you might consider having them professionally polished. As far as chroming goes, I did have the bumpers on my 71 98 rechromed by North Star Plating in Brainerd, MN years ago. They did a great job on the front bumper, but the chrome on the back bumper failed. If you have chroming done, don't use them!

You might want to take a look a powder coating those wheels in chrome. St. Louis likely has a # of qualified powder coaters. I know here in DFW there are powder coaters that specialize in wheels and other auto / motorcycle parts.
I have a set of 15" Aluminum wheels that I am considering Black Chrome for my Nova if I break away from the 14" Rally wheels.
