i have a 68 delta 88 and my girl put fuel injecter cleaner in the tank and sence then my car is running weird. It keeps shutting down and i dont know why couid this be the problem plz help.

 

Check your fuel filter. If the cleaner had loosened any crap in your tank it gould have clogged the filter. If there IS a lot of crap on the filter, your gas tank might need to be dropped and cleaned out well.

The other possibility is that the cleaner had damaged some old rubber parts of the carb (if they were very old.) Some of that cleaner is pretty strong.

 

I just had the tank cleaned out two weeks ago and when my car shut off i check under the hood there was gas leaking from the carb like it was flooded and after awhile it started back up i havent put any gas in the car sence the the cleaner was put in and i read the bottle it says i need to put atleast 21 gallons in after you put the cleaner in couid that be the problem.and thanks for the response.
