Question build sheets or documentation

Does Olds have records of build sheets and line item info akin to Pontiacs Historical Society in order to verify the VIN? and authenticate the car?

Oldsmobile in the US threw those documents away long ago. Pontiac was about to do the same, but their documents were saved by a private collector, which is why PHS has them now. GM of Canada has records for any Oldsmobile either built in Canada or originally delivered to Canada.

Short answer is no. Not even GM Canada has build sheet items listed. They only have the window sticker information.

About the only chance of going to Canada would be if it was a Lansing or Fremont car. Anything else not likely.
