Bucket seat covers 1977 Cutlass

Hi there,

I've been cruising the web and contacting vendors, looking for a seat cover set for a 1977 Cutlass S with buckets.

The only thing I've been able to find are a seat cover set for "swivel" style buckets which are different.

Any suggestions? This is the style of front seat that I have.

Thank you

Wow...a 260 5sp 77 Cutlass. Those don't even look like reclining seats. Very stripped down car.
I have never seen seat covers to "fit" those seats so.....not sure what to tell you.

Have an Auto upholsterer make some up. That is the same style seat i had in a 77 442 i had. Had a local upholsterer make them for me.

I agree, seek out a good auto upholter shop, that specializes in classics. They are more apt to do the searching for original vinyl used, any NOS still available and the reproduction.

Not really Randy - have a look; the 260 5 speed is an upgrade In 1977 (as with 1976) Cutlass S was the only model the 442 option was offered on. Too bad they did away with the swivel bucket seats that year.

Thank you for the suggestions. Found a local shop to stitch up a set of covers. Picking them up next week.
