bellhousing question

bellhousing question

I have a BOP bellhousing it is made for a cable operated clutch , it has a starter hole for olds,pontiac and buick on the other side, I was wondering what it came from or what transmission fits it, it is about 6.5 inches deep.
any info would be great.

I've seen those before. I want to say late 1970's Omega/Skylark but someone else will have to verify that. John

How about 75-79 Buick Skyhawk, 75-79 Olds Starfire with Buick V6 engine.

For any performance build, do your feet a favor and get a Lakewood or QuickTime bellhousing. Your feet are discontinued and clutch/flywheel shrapnel is not friendly.

Jeep in the middle 80's used some 3.8 Buick V6 engines with five speed transmission it used a similar bell housing. I believe it used a hydraulic clutch, not for sure. It was uncommon because Jeep didn't use very many of the Buick engines. The GM engine they used the most of was the 2.8 Chevy engine.
