Does anybody know if an autronic eye from a 55 also fit a 56?

well if someone has a 55 autronic eye I need the p/n on the base. The one I need is p/n 5946917 also already have a head unit p/n 356000041 6

that's what I'm trying to figure out, I could care less for numbers. I have the base for a 56 cadillac and it don't fit so I don't want to go out and buy a 55 one and have it not fit the dash right. BTW thank you I'll try to contact rockola404 and see if he could help

thank you rockola404 had the base I was looking for
