87 delta 88 gauges.
My '87 Delta 88 has no temperature gauge, were they available as an option?.
There is a blanking plate with an Olds logo on the dash, behind it there seem to be two eletrical plugins. Are they for gauges on this model or is it just my wishful thinking?.
If I necessary I will fit an aftermarket gauge as I use my car for towing but I dont want to if I don't have to.
Thanks in anticipation.

Gauges were available in these years, usually were found only on "FE3" package equipped cars. I am not sure its a simple "plug-in", though, or if there were differences in the sending units / wiring harness.. Also, it would be pretty hard to find a set of correct gauges for your car, being that the FE3 package was kinda rare on '87-'91 C (Delta) and H (Ninety-Eight) body cars. The package basically came with tighter suspension (load leveling as well), tighter steering ratio, lower (numeric) final drive ratio, aforementioned gauges and leather wrapped steering wheel.
Only even slightly decent pic of the gauges I could find online of a car so equipped is as follows; its hard to see, but there are two gauge pods to the right of the speed cluster. These would include fuel, oil pressure, water temp and volts.
