84 307 Timing ?

Hey guys. Finally got the engine done in my Wifes Riviera. Started and sounds pretty good so far. I need to set the timing. The underhood sticker says to "ground the C-3 connector" ? I cannot seems to figure out where in the world this connector is The factory service manual is no help, it just says to go by the underhood sticker lol. For some reason I seem to remember jumpering two wires on the aldl connector but it has been a long time since last done.

Anyway, anyone have any idea where this c-3 connector is and what it looks like ?

This is NOT the connector up by the carb that you use to set the dwell for the carburetor.

This is an 84 Riviera but a Toronado should be the same deal.

I have no experience with Buick manuals, but the procedure (and connector drawing) are in Chapter 6D of the Oldsmobile CSM. Yes, the C3 connector is the ALDL connector.

Joe,
Thank you that was what I needed. I have the Buick factory manual and it just says to follow the sticker directions. I was almost certain I had used the aldl connector in the past but just wanted to be certain
