70 supreme build sheet question

I have part of my build sheet For my 70 supreme it’s an automatic 4bl with air conditioning. It has FE for radiator, Has a factory fan shroud. Would that be a 4 core- heavy duty cooling?

My build sheet is pretty much intact. It also shows an FE radiator. It does not show HD cooling as an option. As far as I can tell it has and has always had a 3 core radiator with shroud.

If you have the radiator, you can tell how many cores (or "rows") there are by removing the cap and looking inside. In the photo below, a 2-core is on the left and a 4-core is on the right. But note also that the cores are different widths. So number of cores alone isn't the sole determiner of how well a radiator sheds heat from the coolant.

I would expect that these two radiators would do a similar job of shedding heat.

Thanks, I’m supposed to pick it up this week from the body/paint shop. I will look inside as soon as I get it back. I’m Looking to recore or replace it with an aluminum radiator and change the water pump.

FE is definitely a 3 row radiator.

Got it back yesterday from paint, it’s a 3 core Harrison in there, I’m gonna have it re-cored. I assume original, I’m the 2nd owner of it.

Why change the water pump? If it is not leaking, I would not touch it. My car has an auto parts store reman water pump with a stamped steel impeller and it keeps the engine cool during 110+ summer temps. I can't imagine Philly having hot enough summer temperatures to cause overheating issues that require more than what my car has on it.

I was gonna change them both, I’ve had the car since 2007, it was in there when I bought it from the original owner. Figured I’d do both at the same time, temps here in the summer are in the 90’s and humid. I will use the air conditioning in it. Figure new belts and hoses too.
