I’m in process of reassembling the dash for my Cutlass wagon and discovered that the headlight **** was pitted. I had a good serviceable **** and had pressed it onto the pull rod successfully, but now I’m questioning the throw of the rod. Perhaps I may have pressed it too far. I should have made the measurement before I extracted the pitted **** but,..I did not. Can anyone who has a loose ‘70-72 Cutlass headlight switch be kind enough to extract the pull rod and provide the correct length?? Much appreciation.😊
I extracted and reset the **** at the correct length with Hysol structure adhesive. I had it 3/16 too deep. Thanks again and hope your weekend is terrific!
