Hi, I am adding rear seat belts to my 442 which are missing. Is the buckle metal or plastic? Much appreciated.

 

The buckles are different depending of whether you have the standard or optional deluxe belts. They will match the ones for the front. Are you SURE your back belts are missing and not just under the rear seat cushion? You might want to pull the back seat out before spending money on new ones.

 

Hi, Joe The seat is out and I see the mounting holes. The front belts are after market (made in China) with plastic buckle.

 

The buckle in either case, deluxe or standard, is metal. The standard case has a painted black cover, and the deluxe has a brushed aluminum appearance. Deluxe also has a smaller size buckle for the front lap belt, while the standard belts all use the same size.
