Question all, I've got a numbers matching car I'm restoring. Its a column shift bench post car, I'm a fan of buckets. Should I leave it bench or go with a bucket and column swap? I'm keeping the car till I'm long gone.

 

Your car, your call, but if it was mine I'd do it like the factory did. I won't hate you if you decide on the buckets, though -- it's a minor deviation in the scheme of things. I've seen far worse things done to Oldsmobiles.

 

I helped switch a 69 from bench to buckets. It is a very involved process. Plus, your girlfriend or wife can't get close to you if you do the switch. Sometimes that's a good thing though.
