I've got the wiper motor pictured here. The washer part is clicking. but not squirting fluid. It's either the diaphragm or housing. Also, the wipers dont always find home and sometimes just stop mid wipe.
If I can get it out, I can probably clean it up.
Can I remove it without much hassle? Do I need to remove the grating below the windshield, or can I detach the pump from the wiper
arms through the hole when I back out the pump?
Thanks
Dave
Thanks Joe, I guess. I'd rather not do that. I'll do that later this fall.
But anyways, I removed the part for the washer and the diaphragm is toast. Know where to get one of those?
Thanks

The square motor was used on 67-68 Camaros and all the Camaro repro vendors sell the repair kits and the whole washer pump.
Just a quick update it was www.classicwipers.com I fat fingered in the wrong address.
The hard part is the diaphragm. He was the only person that I could find that had it.
The Oldsmobile group is great, I don't know how I survived restoring my old 72 Cutlass S back in the early 90's.
Thanks again!

Yes, you have to remove the cowl cover to remove the nut that holds the linkage to the motor.
You can disconnect with the spring clip, or the nut, but you have to remove the cowl cover to get at either.
I found out during an epic journey in a biblical downpour that a 1/4 inch c-clip will replace the missing spring clip.
