When I bought my 57 it came with several AC Delco A90CW filters. My car has a chrome filter housing which is not original though. I will see if I have any documents that show what was stock later today. If you go to Rock Auto and search for 57 Oldsmobile air cleaner you may get a hit or even try Fusick.

I'm not sure if 57's still had the Batwing filter housing like a 55 but if they do a Napa Gold 6094 is the filter you need. You will need to remove the oil bath cylinder and probably add about 1 inch longer hold down bolt because of the additional height of the paper element, watch out that the wingnut does not touch the hood when you close it and make a dent. This has worked for many who have made this adaption.....Tedd
