Have tried acc and trim parts brand carpet in my 1970 4 spd. and have fitment problems. I installed the correct tunnel on the floor pan and the stick works perfect. The 2 brands of carpet i tried are pressed to fit a-body cars.The problem is the carpet is pressed in a mold ment for a chevelle that they claim will fit all a-bodys. This is a no console car with a bench seat. Does anyone know a solution to this problem?

 

Buy a non 4 speed carpet and it will fit best.
