Wondering what cars came with a 455 4bll with E heads built in lansing in 1970, thx.

Look at oil filler tube to see number on it. It will give you a clue of what the engine came out of.

The number on the fill tube indicates the year(first digit), and then the production sequence(number of engines built)
I would say that the carb number and distributor number have a better chance of leading you in the right direction.
Make sure to get the date codes off those parts too.

In the sequence number the first number should be able to tell you what platform the engine came out of. It's in the service manuals.
