been going through some of my parts. I have 5 sport wheels (including the ones on my cars) can you tell which one is the repo?

The middle one has a different grain pattern.

I say the one in the middle is the counterfeit.

I also say the middle one. It seems to me all the repro wheels I have seen the grain is too grainy if there is such a thing. Also I don't know if I've ever seen a part number on an original wheel.

the middle one is the repo. Notice how the spokes on a repo have just a little larger radius curve as it turns toward the rim.

I have three originals with part numbers, one without. The repo has the number empressed in it, the originals have the number embossed - or at least that is how mine are.

I think the repos seem to be grainier only because you rarely see good old wheels.

The repro wheels have the part number stamped,on the original wheel the number is raised and usually wears off.
