Thanks Adam
The shades were in the car....I wore them on the first ride as a kinda tribute to the PO who lost his life at a young age.

Color suggestions??

+1. If that's the original color it looks good. Well, on one side anyway...

Ted, what color is the interior?
re: color
it might be easier to paint the car the original green? But IMO green isn't a hot selling color. Something like Rallye Red, Matador Red or Astro Blue are very popular with the resale market. And you likely will want to get the best resale value when you finally decide to part with it? Only thing about color change is it requires a lot more work to do the jamb areas and inside parts of the trunk, doors etc.

Have you decided to learn how to paint? I know you likely have the space to do it. That could save you a chunk o change in the long run.

You should change the name of the Farm to "Sammy's Stable".

Ty Eric

Allan, the interior is black. I hear you on the more work thing with a color change.I have a booth in my shop that we made. We sprayed a Mustang last week. Not perfect, but certainly driver quality. I am learning from a friend and others how to paint, sooooooo i will try on this car.
This car will be part of Sammy's Stable( me likey!) . I need a 70 Vista, flattop and S to round out the numbers
My wife likes the green along with Eric and Adam, i am leaning towards a blue with white pin stripes...no w30 striping...My son is Matador Red and the guys in my shop say yellow with black w30 striping. I have a set of ss11 chromies for it...fouteens.
I will do a search and see what others have done.....

I like it - your wife says green so you're doing blue! I'm still laughing....

re: 14" SSII chrome. How easy is it for you to find the right size rubber for those. It's pretty scarce out here unless you want to pay primo pricing. Not saying to avoid 14, but there's much better availability in 15". Something to ponder.
