does the rear plastic window on 66 cutlass 442 have to be unzipped to put the top down. I am putting on a new top and not sure what the factory recommended. Would like to do what the factory recommends but unzipping the window sure will be a pain.

I don't unzip mine to put it down, but I do like to check it as it goes down
to make sure it folds across straight as it can.
