best fuel sender gasket replacement.

I have a 63 88 and I bought a nice tank but the sender gasket is damp. plus think it is a good idea to put sealer in the tank? no rust u can still see shiny galv in tank. thanks

the question is what is the best material to use to seal the sender. since it is almost at the bottom of the tank it would be a shame to have a leak

The 63 doesn't use a o-ring? Whatever is used it must be ok with ethanol.
