Maus in Haus!

Dug my other old car, a 72 Chevy, out of the back garage today and noticed nibble holes in my car cover at the cowl and my tattered hood insulation was a little threadbare in spots. Little dudes had made a nest to the back right side of the quadrajet!

Cleaned it up, car ran fine except for an already known about light ticking, and a small bit of coolant in a low spot on the intake, which I think comes from the heater hose right there.

Deployed some mouse traps I had in the main garage. Weekly inspection of any car parked there will now include under hood! I prefer TomCat black traps and peanut butter.

Hopefully the bastards drank some of that coolant.

I hate mice, and I hate birds.

Last time I opened up the air cleaner on my truck, the filter element had been chewed into confetti. Mind you, the poor old truck has to live outdoors because the convertibles hog all the garage space.

Fortunately, they left my K&N alone.

That red oil probably doesn't taste too good.
