Factory 400 G piston ?????????

I'm looking for information on factory 400 G pistons.

I thought I located standard bore 400 G piston for a 68/69 442.
But it turned out that the piston had a large dish.
I was under the impression that all 400 G blocks used the same piston.
The part number on the large dish piston was 399909 it also had GM cast into the piston.

If some one could post pictures of a factory 400 G piston that would be great.
Also if you could post the part number that would also help a lot.

Thanks
Bernhard

Thanks Sammy

Is that a standard bore piston?
Would you be interested in selling the piston or pistons?

All '69 400s used the same piston (except for the "letter" code differences for fitment). '68 was a different story. While most used the same high-compression pistons as '69, '68 also had the low-compression 2-bbl 400 in the "Turnpike Cruise" option. I had one of those in one of my 442 ragtops back in the day...

I need a original factory GM piston to have a copy made. C P will manufacture the piston, then they will be shipped to the NHRA for approval.
The NHRA will then keep the original piston and the cp piston for there recorders.

Well hell why didn't you say so
I might have one such piston if I can find it. I used to try to keep one of everything. You don't need a great conditon piston, just an example.
