1955 Upper Steering Bearing (& others?)

I posted this on the interior/upholstery forum, but thought it may be more useful here:
The signals on my 55 Super 88 were not always canceling. After removing the steering wheel I found that the upper Mast bearing was completely worn out so the shaft was so far off center it did not always hit the cancel spring.
I could not find one anywhere. I did find one close at MSC Industrial Supply, part # 01377332, .75” ID x 1.375 “OD with a flange. As I do not have the parts to make the horn work, I installed it by wrapping the OD with 2 layers of electrical tape to make the OD 1.4”.
I did find one close on E bay, listed as “39 -48 Chevy Upper mast Bearing GM #264887” I bought it and it is exactly the same as the original Olds without the wire, but a wire could be soldered easy.
It may fit many other GM cars. It measures .75” ID x 1.40” rubber OD x 1 1/8” overall length. I paid $30, glad to sell it to a good home + shipping

I deleted the other post as a duplicate, I can move this to a classified if you like.
