If I install Phoenix Device and High performance muffler bearings, how much power will I gain?

Depends on how well you lubricate your Johnson Rod.

Just about the time you think all of the crap things had been invented, here comes another one. Chip Foose must be either hard up for money or it is his crap invention.

Nobody ever lost money underestimating how stupid people can be, I'm sure all concerned will make some money from this.

Btw Eric, Johnson Rods need to be lubricated with elbow grease, don't be tempted to use blinker fluid.

I lost all respect for him when on one of his shows, he took an all original 72 convertible, owned by the father and passed down to his son, ripped out the 350 Olds and put in a Chevy crate engine. Then he ripped out the factory air, junked the Olds wheels and installed some God awful huge wheels. It looked like it had just got back from pimping. I told my wife I would KILL her if she ever did that to me.

I will stick to the fuel atomizer for my miracles. That beautifully molded screen door screen between the carb and intake is a miracle!

This could be the missing piece of the puzzle, I have put every gas saving device JC Whitney sells on my beater and now with this device my fuel economy should be increased to over 125%. My car will literally be making fuel, I guess I better start towing a small tanker trailer to collect it in.

I'm so happy to hear that there are others who can't stand what he does to perfectly good, original cars.

Good grief they sold those POS back in the early 80's under a 1/2 dozen different names, I can't believe they got him to endorse a crummy produced like that.

I agree that episode was a tragedy, but everything gets Chevy motors because Chevy sponsors the show. If that was my car, I would have asked if could keep the Oldsmobile drive train. As far as the wheels, the 14"rally wheels are a thing of the past, lets be serious, we can't get any decent handling out of these cars with 14" BFG's.

The molded screen door between the carb and intake? what?

Wow I cannot find the April Fool's part on that web page

I did see prices of $1200 for this kit that uses engine coolant to perform nonsense voodoo on fuel as it passes thru...

"Recycled water from the engine block circulates through the Phoenix Chamber. This creates an electrostatic charge that excites a proprietary blend of catalyst that surrounds the water chamber.
> We attach a ground wire to remove any electrolysis remaining created by this process.
> After cycling through the fuel filter, the fuel line is then attached to the Phoenix Fuel Converter.
> Fuel circulates through the Phoenix Fuel Converter breaking down the C-13 molecule into smaller – easier to burn particles.
> Catalyzed fuel is then circulated out of the Fuel Converter and introduced to the fuel injector rail then into the combustion chamber."

I believe the original ones were actually considered to be oil from some part of a snake.
