My power brake pedal is real hard when the engine is running. I think the Bendix booster is bad unless someone has any suggestions as to what else it might be. I can find multiple rebuilders but can't find a rebuild kit. Doesn't any body sell them??? The rebuilders are getting them somewhere!!!

For a quick test of your booster will your brake peddle when depressed drop a little (1/4 inch) when you fire up the engine. If not the booster could be defective.

A complete brake and booster rebuild kit part number s5.oooz is in the USA Parts Supply catalog. My catalog is getting quite old so it may be obsolete but you might give it a try ... Phone number 703 335-1935 ....Tedd
