You could only get bench seat in the F-85, buckets were NOT an option.

Bench was standard (and the only seating available) in the F-85 that year.
Bench was standard with buckets optional on the Cutlass
Buckets were standard in the 442, bench was a credit option.

In all cases, if you got the AT, you got a column shifter standard (even with buckets). The AT floor shifter and console was an extra cost option in bucket seat cars.

Are bucket seat/auto column cars rare? A friend has a very early production 68 Cutlass S equipped like that, and I don't think I've ever seen another.

Bucket seat column shift cars were more common 1964-1967. Far less common there after. I have seen one 1970 Rallye 350 that is so equipped (passed on buying the car as price was too high).

If I recall correctly 1972 Cutlass Supreme came standard with bucket seats & column shift. Bench seat was a no cost option. Floor shift & console was extra cost option.

Even the Cutlass S?

Addendum:

Bench standard except on ragtops.
