mushy brakes

I had a bad front passenger wheel cylinder so I changed it the other night. I bled the brakes twice and now the pedal is soft and travels far plus hard to stop and the brake light will come on. I added a power booster a couple years back. the mc and booster are almost new. it's a 4 wheel drum system. the same day I did the cylinder my stock carb was performing bad. my brother let me use his extra holley spread boar that is like a stock carb 650 cfm. the brake booster vac is hooked to a port behind the carb, should it be plugged into the back of the holley?

The brake booster needs to be hooked to a full vacuum port on the carb. When you changed the wheel cylinder did you readjust your brakes?
