Meet-Up, Milwaukee Masterpiece, Aug. 23 - 24, 2014

Aug. 23 - 24, 2014, a truly high-end concourse.
Sunday is invitation only, with cars coming here directly from Pebble Beach, but...

Saturday is Club Day, which is just about a run-what-you-bring show.

Sunday is a separate charge (different than previous years), but it is truly worth it. A couple of years ago, I had the chance to help push the Blitzen Benz into the trailer, what a thrill!

I am registered with the Hurse, and if any other longroofs are available, contact me and we can plan a meeting place and go in together, which is about the only way to get to park together.

Register at http://shop.milwaukeemasterpiece.com/main.sc, there is a $20 fee, but it includes breakfast!

Do it QUICK if you are interested.

I hope others can make it, I feel lonely being the only one sitting on my lawn chair espousing the history and value of the Wagon!

I plan on being there to cover the event for my pub, Car Collector Chronicles. I shall try and look you up.

Hi Dave, yes I have read your musings, they are quite enjoyable.

If you are still looking for a body shop, you can try Perfection Auto Body in Burlington. They do a pretty good amount of classic and custom work. They did the body and paint on the Hurse, my buddy's '37 Buick and '74 ElDorado. Tell Clayton I sent you.

If I am not around my wagon at the Masterpiece (which is normal, I don't sit around with it, I'm more interested in the other cars there), call my cel 414-460-8898. I'll actually turn it on, which almost never happens, I checked last year and I have used less than 300 minutes since I got the phone in '89.
