Tell me I don't have this Cowl weatherstripping backwards

Tell me I don't have this Cowl weatherstripping backwards

Did I put this cowl weatherstrip backwards? The opening is facing the front of the car, not sure if it should be facing the windshield.

They way mine was installed is oppisite of yours.Should not be a big deal to turn it around.Might have to get some new fasteners for it though.

In 68, according to the Assembly Manual, the seam was supposed to face back. What does your assembly manual show?


Functionally it isn't going to matter

Either way your hood will probably be raised in the back, so it won't matter.

Yes, the opening is supposed to be to the back.
