Dash cracks !

Does any one fixed these cracks in dashes. Are overlay dash covers the only answer?

from what I understand no without sending it out which I hear is quite pricey.
the overlay from parts place I hear is good for drivers.
But far as do it yourself , I have tried crazy glue and nothing successful yet that eliminates the cracks

Should still be plenty of 78,79,80 Cutlass dashes from donor cars around. Find one of those and have it SEM painted to match your car. Which part of the dash cracked, and how much? Maybe post a pic.

I order it from E bay.I buy the Industro. Its a a larger tube.I mix it up fill in the crack and put a piece of Clear Packaging Tape on it .Smooth it out and try to keep the filler at a minimum. After it cures you can remove the tape and begin sanding. You dont want be be sanding huge lumps out. SEM can be found in some of the better Auto Parts or Paint shops.

Dean, you may want to check with a local car dealer. They often have mobile vendors that come on site and repair stuff like dashes, seats, etc.

We have a guy (Dr. Vinyl) that comes here and repairs dash and seat cracks, redyes and you can not tell anything ever happened to it.
