1967 fusible link 442

Hey fellas,
I'm in need of the info on the fusible link on a 67 442 my nephew thought itwould be cool to start the olds for his friends before I did all my final checks on it and guess what.......
The starter wires were backwards the wire from the coil wasnt hooked up to the r terminal I need the info on the fuse size so I can pick up a new one at my local classis car shop before I go down to work on it Saturday please can someone helpme and send me numbers and pics please

Oldser, the best suggestion would be to go to wildaboutcarsonline.com. All the info you are looking for is there, and it is free to join. You will find all of the wiring diagrams and the wire gauges and layout on the junction block there. It is an invaluable source of information.

BTW, just how far outside of Boston are you? I'm about 20 miles south.

Thanks I'll look into that tomorrow,I'm living in Weymouth but the 442 is at my parent's house in my garage so my play time is limited

OK, Oldser, besides the Atlantic Ocean, Weymouth borders Braintree, Abington, and my town. We've got a long weekend coming up. Maybe we can get together for a couple of minutes and get this thing straightened out for you.

I picked up a fusible link for it which I hope will work I dont have the car to look at so from what I remember its the wire type but if not I picked up the one that bolts in and is a 60 amp unfortunately my weekend js still only Saturday off due to the lack of an actual job so im going to the garage sat too see what I can do about it ill keep you informed thanks
