the only thing i can come up with is cutting them out of cork. was hoping for a better solution since cork isnt what it used to be these days. also the putty like sealer anyone know where to get it? guy at work said 3m makes it but could not help me from there.

Craft stores sell the material you are looking for. Black foam sheet. I just made new ones for my '67 Delta. Use the old ones as a template. As far as the putty like sealer, try beutel(sp) tape.

3m strip caulk is putty sealer. Available at better auto parts stores, Eastwood.
This stuff is handy around the house as well. Something I try to have on hand. Comes in grey and black

I used black gasket material, comes in 9x11 sheets and in different thickness, found at most any auto parts store. It's both oil and water proof....Tedd
