Excellent sellers thank you thread
I did a quick search but did not find a suitable thread - if there is, its time for another one.
A big thank you to Scott/oldspackrat for providing me with parts over here in Germany with very reasonable prices (and that's not because of the current €/US$ exchange rate), fast shipment and always friendly service with good pictures of the parts beforehand.
Highly recommended!
Thank you
Stefan

As a guy that sells parts for a living, I want to extend a big "Thank you" to all you guys that do business with me & other great guys on this site. We can't sell parts unless you guys need them & it really is a two way street. I have had the pleasure to meet some of you in person & some only on the phone or through the internet but about everyone has been easy to deal with & has made this site the best Oldsmobile resource I've ever seen.

Craig Studnick, Mobile Parts
I just wanted to post a word about Craig Studnick of Mobile Parts, who has been posting here and there on here for about a year, offering parts to people who seem to need them.
I met Craig this past weekend at the Englishtown antique-auto and garage-clean-out flea market in New Jersey, and had a chance to stand and talk for a few minutes.
First, Craig is a real person, not a Chinese spam bot selling Vietnamese parts and "almost new" Russian mail-order brides.
He's a real guy who runs a real business in the old-fashioned way.
He doesn't do any appreciable internet work, he has no web site, and he doesn't sell via e-mail.
Craig is one of those guys that there used to be more of. He's got a storehouse of parts and a van, and he packs up his van and drives to dozens of car events a year to sell there. He's one of these guys with a mind for parts, keeps his inventory mostly in his head, where he can get to it right away, and is, as I said in another thread, as close to a human interchange book as you're likely to find.
He's got stacks of factory-new parts in factory-original boxes, all carefully labelled, and has been doing this for a long time, so he's got a lot of rare or unusual stuff, and he wants to sell it.
He's a real car guy, and likes real car guys, and he likes selling parts that will help people keep their old cars running the way they were designed to run, more than he likes gouging or profiteering.
He sells parts to make a living, but he will treat you fairly as well, and he definitely likes to talk to you about your cars.
He had a flyer he was giving out at the show, and I offered to post it up for him, so that others here could see the sorts of stuff he sells.
If posting it violates any rules here, I will take it down instantly, but I thought it might be nice if people could see what he's got to offer (and I kinda suspect it won't be readable once it's uploaded anyway).
I can e-mail copies to anyone who's interested - just e-mail me (don't PM - my darned box keeps filling up).
Thanks, Craig! Guys like you (and John, and Scott, and Tom, and...) are keeping us all going!

Since my car is still new to me I have not yet gotten the complete overlook on all the things I want and need. I have been in contact with both oldspackrat and Brian Trick. Both have been more than welcoming, fast response to messages, and both with the attitude:"I´m here when you´re ready". Cool guys that I will be doing business with sooner og later.
