Holy cow. My father would have walked 3000 miles to drive that Buick home.

Wow there are some cool cars in that yard! There is a thread called junk yard dogs under the general discussion Forum. It has a sticky and stays at the top of the forum. These pics would be a great addition to that thread.

its slicks mustang corral...i helped with his website....good luck buying anything...hes afraid to sell stuff because hes afraid its too cheap...if he thinks youre a hustler he just shuts down...and his help is a mess...the words toothless meth heads work..but hey that was 8 or 9 years ago...maybe after the economic crash hes easier to deal with..looks like he crushed a BUNCH...

I couldnt buy anything, but my buddys brother drug a 70 Coronet R/T 440 4 speed dana out of there..even had the buildsheet still in it..

the yard is just a touch of what he has...he has buildings and land all over that area...has or had some Boss cars and some shelbys

http://www.slicksmustangcorral.com/

going thru his inventory just now...those are almost all old pics...he may not be keeping up with inventory, i recognize 90% of those cars from 8 or 9 years ago...

If only those cars could talk. We had a huge junk yard up this way with hundreds of cars from the 50's to the 70's, with a lot more newer cars. A local news helicopter flew over junk yard one day and reported to the authorities that the older cars seemed to be parked on land belonging to a local water utility. It ended up that the junk yard and the utility had been disputing the land ownership, but the authorities did not wait for the dispute to resolved and threatened the junk yard with major fines if the cars were not moved within a ridiculously short time. Since it was a mom & pops yard, and there was no where else to store them, the mostly old muscle cars were scrapped. The authorities would not listen when asked by individuals and many car clubs to extend the time period so that the cars could be either salvaged or have the good parts removed prior to being crushed.

When it comes to the law, these old cars don't mean anything.
