Wrong glass or bad alignment?

Help!!
My 1968 Olds 98 convertible restoration project is nearly done.
However the passenger side rear quarter glass when fully raised leaves about a 3/16" gap between the rear of the window and the front edge of the convertible top. However it is aligned correctly with the front side window.
The guy currently doing the work swears the window is a different size than the driver side quarter glass window that fits perfectly.
However the guy who did the original body work swears it is the same window as before (which fit perfectly) and not a replacement.
Could it be the convertible top is not aligned correctly, or there is some trick to installing these windows correctly?
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Ian

You should be able to measure the windows and see if they are the same. The top adjustment instructions on my 65 say to adjust top for fit at window. I am dealing with that now. It is a balance between top adjustment and window adjustment, and one adjustment on the top effects fitment everywhere. In addition, window rollers need to be tight.
