back to colors

Hey Jeff here I'm rebuilding my 65 f85 330 ultra high comp. Searched sight for breather color. My is now orange but painted over crap ( wouldn't want to clean before paint) but looks black underneath. Found thread said red 4b black 2b but it is a 4b. Seen one at show was red. Confused any input would be appreciated.

have it out being blasted any ideas? may have to run it in primer for a while

The thingy should be red. There's a decal you can purchase that goes on the top through any of the resto parts houses.

That is the same as mine and looks orange to me so what red. Like i ssade earlier mine was black underneath the orange.
