1969 olds cutlass What is this?????????????

I have a 2 door 1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass that I plan to part out but when I removed the rear tire to put on a tire that wasn't flat I saw this, an aluminum rear drum on both sides of this 12 bolt rear. What is it? Is this a factory aluminum drum? Did they come on 1969's? Any info would be great thanks. The pic is below.

Looks like someone replaced originals with later Metric Aluminum Hubs. Have come across several sets of these over the years, Most of them found on Buick Regals 78-83.

I don't think so. Have you not been reading my E-bay help thread?
Can't you tell those are super rare, experimental drums!! Only found on factory race cars. So the entire car is a one of a kind factory race car driven by Parnelli Jones.
E-bay can be your friend. I seen a guy on the net who would make..... I mean discover the documents you need to prove this.

Of course he's joking.

Sheesh.

He's parodying some of the posters who come on here with Xtremely "rare," "valuable," Xceptionally crappy cars.

Ok so its just 80's rear aluminum drums on the car then. I've seen 80's aluminum drums before but I dont remember seeing those 3 wheel weight looking things on them. That was what I was trying to find out, Did they make them at all 68-72? Things for any info.

I agree that those weights look more elaborate than what I've previously seen GM do.

Unfortunately, I don't know anything about aluminum drums on GM cars, but I'm sure someone else here has seen them.

The weights are correct also, They usually only have 1 on each , I have seen 2 but not sure of 3. Must of been far out of balance from factory!

Yes a parody.
reading all that e-bay BS makes me like that. Some of those guys on there need a good slap in the head.
Like the guy from spencer N.Y. has a real rusty old bolt and washer from a scrap heap for the transmission mount. BIN Only $25.00

Early 1960s Buicks had aluminum drums, but they were full size cars with a 5x5 bolt circle, not SportWagons.
