rare buick found

i had no idea what to make of this so i had to research it. i found it at a muscle car lot just outside of springfield IL. on hwy 55. most the cars there are pretty wasted but there are a few that could be saved. so this buick is a 1972 GS suncoupe. they were only made one year and production numbers vary between 1600 to 2700. when i figure out how to resize the pictures i will post more of the cars there.

I'm not sure where you are, but I saw one of these in a yard in Terry Haute Indiana several years ago. It might still be there, but I'm sure it's way worse than this one by now.

I see them time to time at shows, there was an orange one with a white top and interior at a used car lot in my area when I was in my late teens. Olds decided that only the H/O would get it, too bad that it wasn't an option on Supremes in '72.

Chris,
I don't remember the name, its been 10 to 15 years since I've been there. It's located right near a river bank though and some of the cars on the lower level have been flooded time and time again. Most of the cars are located up on some hills near the river bank.

Wow a Sun Coupe! Yes rare in any form, though especially rare in a Skylark stick or either trans GS & or Stage 1. Cool find. Hope it gets saved??? I have the numbers broken down somewhere if anyone's interested?

4500s Kinda steep if everything's missing IMO. If its rot free I guess thats at least a starting point to bicker him down.

Its got a GS hood but the ad doesn't say GS. I don't see it worth that money. We def don't have places like that by me. Huge lots selling clapped out project cars and beaters.
