Good luck on the sale. I think your price is a bit steep for a car that needs to be painted and bumpers rechromed.
Also, it's a bit confusing when you say
"Aftermarket parts are fairly expensive, but can be found, Water pumps, fuel pumps, master cylinders, are available but you have to send them in for rebuild or exchange."
This suggests that the car needs all of these parts, and if that's the case, your price is even more difficult to justify.
Finally, there's this:
"Glass is good, ding on front windshield adds character, looks like bullet hit it"
That's one way of putting it. Most people, though, would say that the car needs a new windshield, which is yet another reason why the car is worth more in the $5,000 to $7,000 range than it is in the five-figure range.
But good luck. The Olds 98s are always desirable cars. Maybe someone will come along and buy it at or near your price.

The pictures are a little confusing. In the ones taken in the storage lot, the car looks pretty rough. The ones in the driveway look a lot better. Based on the comment as to the top being in white primer, I assume this is what the car looks like now. I will refrain from discussing pricing. Good luck with your sale.

I agree, and that's part of my argument against the $12,000 asking price (which I'm not afraid to discuss!).
This photo looks nothing like a $12,000 car. It still has a blue roof.
Whereas in this one, where it appears to have a white roof and in which it's not easy to tell if we're looking at actual white paint or just white primer, it certainly could be a $12,000 car, although it certainly isn't as well-framed a photo as it could be:
It almost looks like we're seeing some "before" and "after" photos.
The seller needs to show photos of the car as it appears today, from all sides, plus interior, and engine. The one photo through the driver's window is a start for the interior. How about opening the door for a better shot?
