Im having a tough time trying to find someone that will mix a custom color I have into an aerosol can. But I need the paint specifically for plastic. And two cans will be more than enough for what I'm doing. I've seen crazy prices like $75 for mixing paint and a minimum of 5 cans which meant on the area of $140. Any ideas where to go? Thanks

 

You can have the paint mixed at your local automotive paint dealer to the color you like in the amount you want. Then buy a Preval paint charger from your local home improvement store, or sometimes the paint supplier will sell them. They are easy to use, inexpensive, and can be cleaned with solvent and reused if the charge is still good. I 've had very good luck with painting interior parts with them.

 

Have you thought of getting a plastic primer in what ever color that is available then re coat with regular paint in your color, remember you are only painting the plastic the first time all other coats are paint over paint. Krylon and Restolum both make this primer in spray cans, XIM makes spray cans and a spray able product....Tedd

 

Go to SEM s website. They have a search tool for jobbers in your area, that can mix their plastic/vinyl paint and put it in cans for you.
