On the road again

Cleaned the old girl up. I know its kind of late in the season but it still the best time of the year to go cruising with the top down. Warm days cool nights. Gotta love it. First time on road 8 years.

Very nice ride, I agree that this is the best time in the northeast to drive these cars. Mine has a black interior and no air, so on a hot summer day if its above 85 I bake in it! I'll put it away probably in November.

Thanks, you too. I've been waiting to do a big money frame off resto but with two kids and a mortgage and everything that goes with it, my car seems to always take a back seat to everything. I'm just gonna drive and enjoy and fix things as needed I guess.

Looks great! Go enjoy it while you can. Your winters will be here in no time.
Us in TX got a artic cold front that pulled the 105 high down to a comfy 85. I got mine out washed her and went to a car show. PERFECT weather!!

Your car looks fabulous. I used to take my daughter with me for cruises too. She had fun and I got to enjoy her company. Now she's 21 and away at college. I have two more however. My youngest turned 17 yesterday. We took the Olds out and she asked if she could drive. Of course! We went to an unfilled subdivision and she drove it around there. The car has a heavy clutch and it was her second lesson. Wow! I was a bit frazzled after that. I explained to her that if she were learning on a Honda civic she would have it down by now. But with a 455 and a 3.73 gear the car is a bit of a handful. We had some good laughs. With some more practice I'll let her out on the road. Enjoy that time with your youngster, they will be gone before you know it!
