Well, I looked it up after my guess, and this is what I came up with...a 1951 Muntz Jet.

It's a Curtis -something. The car that Mad Man Munz bought and reconfigured into the Jet.

It started as a Kurtis Kraft Sport and sold 36 units in 1950. He sold the rights to Muntz in 1951 and the took it from there.

Well... I'm just down the road from Grants Pass but I missed the event

A couple years ago there was a group of Kaiser automobiles in the town of Jacksonville. Maybe 15-20 and it included two Kaiser Darrin's, something I hadn't seen before. What struck me is that the doors slid into the front fender rather than swinging open. It's amazing to see how many of these unusual cars are still out there, hiding in peoples garages until brought out for a Sunday drive
