Best make out car

Throughout the years My car has been awarded most all of the regular trophies that you get at car shows but yesterday at the Durham Cruz'n Classic show was a first, BEST MAKE OUT CAR. Came with a looooong dissertation at the podium and chuckles and laughs from all the audience, many of which I knew. Now as far as I know my car has been celibate since 78 but who knows before that.

It was a fun show, probably close to 400 cars and a great improvement over last year. I'll remember this award a long time after most of the others are long forgotten....Tedd

My personal favorite would be my old 53 Hudson, I could lay in the back seat and just touch at both ends,a good time could be had by all, or so I'm told...Tedd

My 87 nova was my car, it was a hatch so I folded down the seats and we'd be in the trunk and backseat. That didn't work too well with the Alero

Funny story, the first wife wanted to have sex in her first car, a 1995 Hyundai Accent sedan. Long story short, during the act her head kept hitting the B pillar and when it was over, her head was stuck between the B pillar and the front seat. She probably had a concussion too because she kept complaining about having a headache.

When I was in high school a friend had an older Rambler that the front seat backrests would fold down flat to the back seat. He would just chuckle when the other guys made fun of his car for not being “cool”.

If I were the judges, before giving you that award, I would have asked you to DEMONSTRATE how yours is the best make-out car!

I can't say which is best, but I have a good candidate for the worst.
I turned 16 and got my license in 1965.
In 67 I had a 66 Chevelle SS 396/ 360hp, 4spd. That was a good one, but I used a motel a lot.
In 69 I traded the SS for a 62 Corvette, a factory fuel injected car but the injection was removed. Still a great car BUT A HORRIBLE MAKE OUT CAR. Both doors open and being young and limber and it was still very difficult. The worst I had, but of course still fantastic!
Peace, Mike

Best was my '65 Chevelle 2-door wagon - never had the back seat up, because the look of the 3" custom made 2-piece pad was ruined!
Loved the 3-day races at 'The Grove'!
Most used was the front bench of my '65 210 sedan - cops don't stop if you're in the front seat watching 'submarine races'!
AHHHHHH - memories!

Mine was my 79 Ford Bronco. The back seat rolled down and the back was perfect for "doing things"........which got used quite a few times.

If I would have had to demostrate the advantages of a 55 super 88 as a make out car I would have lost the award because of several major factors, not all car related......Tedd.

My brother bought a used '78 Omega SX hatchback. He did not have it too long and his girl friend at the time found a pair of panties wedged in the folding back seat that were not her's. To this day he will swear they came with the car. I do miss that car. It was the car that turned me onto Olds! Much nicer then the Novas and late 70's Skylarks my other brother had.

Years ago I had a Wolseley18/85 (never sold in the USA), if you moved the front seats forward they could be reclined to make a double bed.....

I think ( the one who must be obeyed) would object to that nifty trinket hanging on the Old's key chain, but it would be fun to find out....Tedd

I do not think the warden would approve of it hanging from my olds car keys either.

She loved it and wished she could have been there to except the award, which would have I'm sure changed the announcers dissertation considerably.

Here is an award that she did ask about when she saw it in the back seat with only the stiletto showing.....Tedd

Well the worst car for... a VW Carmen Gia, specially if your 6'5, don't ask me how I know!

I won a Ladies Choice award last year, I asked my wife if she thought it was me or the car. She said it was definatly "the car"!

I got you all beat with my long-lost '63 Stude Wagonaire: All the lay-down of a wagon plus the headroom of a convertible!

[Of course you had to find a girl who would even get NEAR a 1963 Studebaker Wagonaire, but oh the possibilities... ]

Best- 78 Peugeot 504 diesel- pull the front seats forward, remove the front head rests, and the front seats reclined to make a huge bed.

Worst 73 Karmen Ghia. You had to remove the front seats to do anything

Probably the worst I have had was a 59 Bug Eye Sprite. Hardly room for me and a box of chocolates let alone romance with my Lady......Tedd

Our family had that same Ramber, my brother and I had to take turns trying to borrow it on weekends. When we were in high school we only had one family car and on weekends it was in high demand, that was back in the days when we went to the drive in on weekend dates and this car was the sleeper of make out cars.

83 Pontiac Pheonix. Recline the seat back gives a suprising amount of room.
