65 Cutlass Wheel Well Trim Compatability.

Does anyone know if wheel well trim from 65 Olds Cutlass will fit 64 Olds Cutlass? A nice gentleman contacted me today. He has a mint 64 Cutlass and is thinking of buying my 65 chrome trim pieces, but I'm thinking they aren't the same. All he needs is the ones that go around the well, I believe. If somebody knows for sure, I'll pass on the info.
Thanks, Dave

65 w/h trim doesnt go all around the opening,he would also need the side trim to make it work. frt fender is 3 piece, and 1/4 trim is 3 piece, as you know.

Yes, they're very different. I'm looking for some 1964 wheel well trim myself and it seems they're not as common as the 65-72 vintage. John

Cutlass wheel trim is different. F85 trim, with the Y68 rear panel/rocker/wheel well trim option is the same. Rare trim only used on standard F85s, and its the same as the 64 trim.

Interesting. Is Y68 the option that deletes the big metal panel between the tail lights, and just gives you a thin chrome trim piece?

The moldings on the pictured blue car are an extra cost option for the base f85 series.
