Car Shows

Hey would anyone have a list of car shows going on for 2012? I know there is probably a bunch. If anyone has a list for Alberta that would be great. Also if there is a list of car shows in the US that would cool to.

Lant Insurance usually have a good listing but it hasn't been updated so check back later - http://www.cruzemagazine.ca/carshows.htm

Also Cruze Magazine is good but I think it is only Ontario - http://www.cruzemagazine.ca/carshows.htm

Actually just came accross this on another froum. "carshowfinder.org". They have listings for both US and Canada, so maybe worth checking into.

Not worth looking at now, at least if you're in Alberta. Only two shows are listed, and both are from 2010. It doesn't appear to be a very active site.

You have to do an "advanced search" to even get to the Canada listings as they don't have a map of it like they do the U.S.

All of these car show listing sites will only list shows for which the show organizers actually go through the trouble of submitting the information. Not every show will post on every available site, so your best bet is to search for several of these sites and then check them all regularly.

Even then, the bi-weekly cruise-in sponsored by the local ice cream stand probably won't be on there. For those, you listen to the radio or check the flyers tacked to the bulletin boards at the entrances to nearby grocery and drug stores.

We have a monthly magazine - newspaper that has become popular in northern California called the Cruising News, it lists most of the cruse nights and car shows in northern Ca.northern Nevada and southern Oregon. There should be something similar in your area, it also requires the promotion's to list their shows. Have you asked at shows how people get their times and places?
And as a shot in the dark you might contact Cruising News and ask them if they know of a publication like Cruising News in the Alberta area.....Tedd
