Color matched rocket emblem...check it out!!

I bought a repop rocket emblem from Year One a year ago, and the red paint was already started to flake and come off. So I was gone strip the rest of the paint and repaint it red like it was. Then I figured since I had a couple aresol cans of the car color, I would just paint it to match the car color. I will post a followup pic of it on the car, but here it was ready to be installed:

Tell me what u guys think...I can always change it back to red in the future, but I really like it with the blue!!!

Looks nice!
It is unfortunate that the red disappeared so soon. I am sure you bought this for a big price at YO...

I think it was somewhere in the $50-$75 range...it still shines up really nice on the chrome parts. I'm thinking about doing the rear emblem to match as well.

would have liked to, but family stuff came up.

Motor build has basically been on hold as i wait for my turn at my machinist... (he does it as a hobby business, so its cheap, but you gotta be patient) thats ok, becuase everytime i get money in my hand for the buildup, something else comes along and steals it.

Just about back to where i can afford to get the short block together- luckily he told me I'm next in line... so it should start coming together soon...
